Edmonton is the northernmost major metropolitan in the world, and so we often have really cold and harsh winters. When we do, you can see smoke coming from every building as they try to keep warm.
This photo was taken in 2021 during one of the coldest days of that winter, where we hit -38C before windchill and -45C with the wind!!
